The Sport Impact Summit (SIS), headquartered in the UAE, is enhancing its commitment to the nation’s recent climate legislation through collaborations with two artificial intelligence (AI) pioneers aimed at assisting organizations in reducing emissions and advancing sustainability initiatives.

SIS has forged strategic partnerships with Scoreboard, an AI-enhanced emissions monitoring platform, and Hum(AI)n Assets, an AI-powered content creation engine developed by the global agency HOKO.

These platforms will be integrated into SIS to aid the enforcement of Federal Decree-Law No. (11) of 2024 regarding the Mitigation of Climate Change Effects.

AI-Enhanced Sustainability via Scoreboard

Developed by a team with a collective experience of over 90 years in climate science, decarbonization, AI, and global sports, Scoreboard accelerates the emissions reporting process — reducing it from 90 days to just 90 minutes at a cost that is 90 percent lower.

Originally designed for elite sports organizations, the platform has been adapted to cater to various other industries. It offers real-time data dashboards, AI-driven coaching tools, and commercial prospects linked to sustainability leadership.

Endorsed by climate experts who have crafted decarbonization strategies for Unilever, Tesco, Pfizer, and over 50 other global brands, Scoreboard is integral to SIS’s initiative for technology-fueled environmental advancement.

Notable Features Include:

Real-time dashboards that replace outdated annual reporting systems

AI-driven coaching tools for emissions mitigation

Immediate customized roadmaps

A marketplace for brands and sponsors focused on sustainability leadership

Scalability applicable across both sports and corporate domains

“Scoreboard is a perfect match for our Sport Impact Declaration’s objectives — a framework we established with the Ministry of Sport during our 2024 Dubai summit,” remarked Michael Gietzen, co-founder of the Sport Impact Summit.

“Signatories of the Declaration will receive preferential access to Scoreboard and other SIS resources.”

Sean Morris, Founder of Scoreboard and ex-sustainability director for Formula One, the PCA, and Rajasthan Royals, added: “Our goal with Scoreboard is to enable organizations, starting with sports entities, to implement significant, measurable, and cost-effective actions.”

Accelerated Creativity with AI

Also joining the SIS tech lineup is Hum(AI)n Assets, a platform for content generation that merges the strategic insights of traditional agencies with the agility and speed of AI.

Created by HOKO, the platform produces content — including visuals, videos, and written material — at scale and as needed.

HOKO is a key equity partner in the SIS initiative and is developing Hum(AI)n Assets as part of its portfolio.

“We believe that creativity should respond with the relevance of speed,” stated Bally Singh, chair of HOKO and Founder of Hum(AI)n Assets.

“Partnering with SIS, we aim to demonstrate how human creativity and AI can synergize in support of the UAE’s ambitious climate goals.”

Supporting UAE Climate Initiatives

These two platforms provide both public and private organizations with tools that can be readily deployed for reporting and storytelling, thus helping to actualize the UAE’s national climate obligations.

“These partnerships exemplify the intersection of policy, innovation, and purpose,” noted Gietzen. “Sport has a unique ability to lead by example — and through initiatives like these, we’re facilitating that process.”

About the Sport Impact Summit

Established in the UAE, the Sport Impact Summit serves as a global platform dedicated to promoting sustainability, innovation, and social impact through sports. Its inaugural event in Dubai in 2024 attracted more than 200 leaders and athletes, including Sheikh Suhail Bin Butti Suhail Al Maktoum, Executive Director of the Sports Development Sector at the General Authority of Sports.

The aim of SIS is to inspire one billion individuals to participate in its initiative across seven core areas: innovation and technology, sustainable sponsorship, education and communication, human health, equality and inclusion, green investment, and legacy.
