The International Expo for People of Determination is set to take place in collaboration with the Emirates Association of the Deaf, featuring the theme of “International Forum for the Deaf – Empowerment and Partnership.” This inaugural event will kick off on October 6 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, drawing participation from both local and international experts. Its primary aim is to highlight the achievements of this community and the requirements they seek to enhance their roles and interactions within society.
This one-day forum, located in Hall 5 at the Dubai World Trade Centre, will center on pivotal issues affecting the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. Topics of discussion will include government policies supporting these individuals, supportive services, and modern technologies that facilitate integration and communication across various aspects of life. Additionally, success stories from individuals within the deaf community will be showcased.
On this occasion, Musbah Said Al-Niyadi, Chairman of the Emirates Association of the Deaf, expressed, “Our partnership with the International Expo for People of Determination represents a valuable opportunity for cooperative efforts to serve the deaf and hard-of-hearing community. The “International Forum for the Deaf – Empowerment and Partnership” is one of the central events of the seventh edition of the International Expo for People of Determination 2025, which will be held under the patronage of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Civil Aviation Authority and CEO of Dubai Airports, from October 6 to 8 in Halls 5-8 at the Dubai World Trade Centre. The event will feature participation from 250 international exhibitors, brands, and rehabilitation centers representing over 50 countries.
