The Jordanian-Emirati Women’s Business Council successfully organized 168 diverse events within a single year, while also formalizing 9 agreements with local, regional, and international entities in the UAE, Bahrain, China, Jordan, and the Arab League.
This announcement was made during the council’s second members’ forum, attended by Dr. Amal Abdullah Al-Hadabi, the council president, Asil Hijjawi, the vice president, and other board members.
Dr. Al-Hadabi highlighted the council’s achievements over the past year, noting that they managed to hold 168 varied events, including workshops, seminars, forums, conferences, and exhibitions. Among these, 71 events focused on fostering entrepreneurship and exchanging experiences, 63 aimed at enhancing women’s skills and showcasing their accomplishments, and 33 were dedicated to boosting Jordanian-Emirati trade and investment relations. Additionally, other events were organized to strengthen partnerships and facilitate communication channels.
She also mentioned the successful signing of 9 formal agreements with local, regional, and international partners in the UAE, Bahrain, China, Jordan, and the Arab League. Notably, around 83% of these agreements were established with service partners to support members, while 17% were with official entities aimed at enhancing economic ties. Ongoing negotiations are currently taking place with Russia, Egypt, Saudi Arabia, and Oman for future expansion. Furthermore, the membership base has grown to include entrepreneurs, professionals, influencers, and creatives, yielding significant benefits such as participation in 32 exclusive events and partnerships with 48 service organizations.
Dr. Al-Hadabi confirmed to a local news outlet that plans are underway for the inaugural annual economic conference of the council in Jordan, titled: Women’s Entrepreneurship in the Age of Artificial Intelligence: From Empowerment to Impact, scheduled for next April in the capital, Amman. The second conference is expected to be held in 2027 in the UAE, noting that the previous year’s delegation visit to Jordan marked a significant milestone.
