Dubai Internet City Showcases Its Innovative Technology Ecosystem at GITEX 2025

Dubai Internet City is preparing to showcase a selection of notable technology companies located within its premises, highlighting their pivotal role in advancing the digital economy. They will participate in the upcoming GITEX Global 2025, where they will present the remarkable growth of their thriving community and the significant achievements of their expanding customer base, which includes leading firms in artificial intelligence, big data, cybersecurity, and cloud computing. The exhibition is scheduled to take place from October 13 to 17, 2025, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.

As a knowledge partner in GITEX Global, Dubai Internet City, a part of the Tecom Group, will draw on its influential role in supporting Dubai’s ambitious digital transformation journey over the past 25 years. GITEX Global is the largest and most prominent technology event worldwide, expected to attract 6,800 tech companies and 2,000 startups from 180 countries.

Amar Malik, the Executive Vice President of Tecom Group’s commercial sector and General Manager of Dubai Internet City, emphasized that the future of the digital economy is fundamentally based on cooperative efforts toward a unified vision aimed at fostering innovation. He stated, “For over 25 years, Dubai Internet City has dedicated itself to strengthening these pillars by attracting leading global technology companies and empowering them to participate in shaping the future of the digital sector. As a knowledge partner in this year’s GITEX Global, we look forward to showcasing our journey filled with achievements and the comprehensive business environment we provide, supported by advanced infrastructure and a vibrant community, in line with Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”

Notably, Dubai Internet City accounts for 65% of Dubai’s technology sector GDP, offering advanced infrastructure that meets the needs of various industries. It supports the growth of key players in the digital economy, featuring premier office spaces, over 20 research and development centers, and the in5 tech incubator—a hub for startups and entrepreneurs within the Tecom Group. Additionally, Dubai Internet City includes an Innovation Centre that attracts leading global tech firms like Google and Gartner, as well as flexible co-working spaces known as D/Quarters.

Beyond its advanced infrastructure, Dubai Internet City is also dedicated to nurturing young talent and preparing them for the future. This is achieved through prominent interactive platforms such as Backyard Talks and Connected Mornings, in addition to hosting the annual STEP Technology Festival, the largest of its kind in Dubai.

Visitors to GITEX Global are invited to explore the future of the tech sector at Dubai Internet City’s booth located in Concourse (2). This area will highlight the city’s critical role in shaping the digital economy. The exhibition will feature notable achievements from several resident companies, including Bumi, which provides integration platforms as a service, Wittyfy, specializing in AI solutions for customer engagement, and Kinstex, which offers AI-based fitness services—all supported by the in5 tech incubator.

More than 4,000 clients from leading global and regional firms, including startups and Fortune 500 companies such as PayPal, Nvidia, Google, and Hisense, are based in Dubai Internet City, employing over 31,000 technology specialists.

For the third consecutive year, Tecom Group supports the media centre at GITEX Global, providing an exceptional platform for participating global media to connect with and engage visitors.
