Emirates NBD Hosts Second Edition of “Next Generation Program” in Collaboration with Global Partners

Emirates NBD, a leading banking group in the Middle East, North Africa, and Turkey, recently hosted the second edition of the “Next Generation Program” organized by its Private Banking division in partnership with PwC and Visa.

The UAE is experiencing an unprecedented influx of high-net-worth individuals, reinforcing its status as an attractive destination for investors and talent. Over recent years, the country has drawn private capital due to its top-tier infrastructure, supportive regulatory frameworks, and premium real estate offerings.

This initiative comes at a critical juncture as the Middle East witnesses a significant transfer of wealth between generations, with the value of inherited assets expected to surpass one trillion US dollars by 2030. As technology influences this transition, many families seek guidance and advice on estate planning, navigating complexities associated with diverse assets, organizational structures, and legal frameworks. The growing demand for effective family governance policies, inheritance strategies, and leadership development drives Emirates NBD’s Private Banking division to equip the next generation of business leaders with the knowledge, insights, and connections necessary to uphold their family legacies.

The second edition of the “Next Generation Program,” themed “From Inheritance to Leadership,” featured valuable insights and presentations for future business leaders, covering topics such as the fundamentals of governance in family businesses, becoming an active board member, entrepreneurship, and generative AI.

Mohammed Al Bastaki, Head of Private Banking and Wealth Management at Emirates NBD, stated, “The ‘Next Generation Program’ is a cornerstone of our commitment to support our high-net-worth clients and their families. By building strong relationships with them, we provide tangible value that goes beyond traditional banking services and empower their successors with essential tools to navigate the evolving global landscape. By combining PwC’s global expertise with Visa’s lifestyle excellence, we are setting a new standard for thought leadership and customer experiences in the region.”

The “Next Generation Program” is among the flagship initiatives launched by Emirates NBD to protect and enhance the wealth of its high-net-worth clients and their businesses, fully aligning with the bank’s Private Banking strategy.
