The eighth edition of the “Sharjah Investment Forum 2025” is set to kick off tomorrow, Wednesday, in Sharjah. The event will align with the “Global Investment Conference,” which is being hosted in the emirate for the first time. This year, the forum expects over 10,000 participants from 142 nations and features 130 international speakers, including ministers and leaders from the global economy. The event will take place on October 22 and 23 at the Al Jawaher Reception and Convention Centre.
This year’s forum is themed “Leading Global Transformation: Investment for a Resilient and Sustainable Future.” It is organized by the Sharjah Foreign Direct Investment Office (Invest in Sharjah) in partnership with the World Association of Investment Promotion Agencies (WAIPA) and the Ministry of Investment. The forum underscores Sharjah’s role as a global hub for economic dialogue and an incubator for innovative ideas and solutions in the investment landscape of the future.
The forum will be inaugurated by Sheikh Fahim Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Government Relations Department in Sharjah, alongside a distinguished group of ministers and international leaders. Among the attendees will be His Excellency Mohammed Hassan Al Suwaidi, Minister of Investment, along with Mikayil Jabbarov, Minister of Economy of Azerbaijan, Miguel Medina, Minister of Investment of Honduras, and Kaiser Ahmed Sheikh, Minister of Investment of Pakistan.
