Dubai Showcases Its Global Leadership in Tourism at World Travel Market in London

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism is set to participate in the World Travel Market taking place in London from November 4 to 6, 2025. The event will showcase the unique attributes of the emirate and its offerings as one of the leading global tourist destinations, reinforcing the city’s ongoing commitment to expand its international presence and collaborate with industry partners, while establishing its pivotal role in shaping the future of tourism.

This participation aligns with the ambitious goals of Dubai’s Economic Agenda D33, which aims to position the emirate as a premier global hub for business and entertainment. The event will highlight the contributions of the tourism and hospitality sectors in driving innovation, attracting investments, and supporting sustainability initiatives in the city. This year, Dubai’s pavilion will feature 71 key partners and stakeholders, up from 62 participants in 2024, including top airlines, hotels, attractions, and destination management companies that form part of Dubai’s distinguished tourism ecosystem.

Issam Kazim, CEO of the Dubai Tourism Marketing and Promotion Corporation, emphasized, “Our participation this year alongside our partners at the World Travel Market in London reflects Dubai’s commitment to a flexible and sustainable tourism model that fosters collaboration, innovation, and shared opportunities. It also highlights the strength of Dubai’s tourism ecosystem and the close partnership between the public and private sectors that bolster the sector’s success in the emirate.”

He further stated, “We look forward to forming new partnerships with international collaborators and showcasing the diverse offerings of Dubai to a new audience in key markets, as part of our efforts to achieve the objectives of the Dubai Economic Agenda D33. In addition to engaging with officials and experts from this vital sector at the exhibition, we continue to set standards of excellence in the global tourism landscape and explore new trends that will shape the future of travel, contributing to sustainable growth while meeting the expectations of the city’s residents and visitors.”

Partners

The Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism will present a variety of tourism experiences alongside 71 exhibiting partners, including Emirates Airlines, DP World, FlyDubai, Dubai Holding Entertainment, Expo City Dubai, Museum of the Future, Dubai Municipality, Emaar Entertainment Group, Desert Adventures Tourism, and Rove Hotels.

Dubai’s involvement in the World Travel Market in London is a key highlight in its international event agenda, alongside other major exhibitions such as the Arabian Travel Market organized by RX Global. These efforts contribute to connecting the most significant tourism destinations globally and support Dubai’s long-term objectives for fostering relationships, building trust, and establishing its presence in key visitor-source markets.

The exhibition will bring together over 4,000 exhibitors from around the world, along with decision-makers, investors, and innovators. Given the importance of the UK and Ireland as key source markets for visitors to Dubai, the exhibition presents an opportunity for direct engagement with trade partners, ensuring Dubai maintains its status as a preferred destination for both new and returning visitors.

In the first nine months of 2025, Dubai welcomed 13.95 million international visitors, marking a 5% year-on-year increase, continuing two consecutive years of record-breaking visitor numbers. The Western Europe region, including the UK and Ireland, accounted for 21% of the emirate’s total international visitors, approximately 2.87 million visitors for the same period this year.
