The Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation, known as “Empower,” along with its subsidiary “Elips,” which specializes in innovative thermal solutions and the manufacturing of insulated pipes, has successfully renewed its ISO certifications granted by the global company Bureau Veritas.
These certifications include the Quality Management System (ISO 9001:2015), Environmental Management System (ISO 14001:2015), and Occupational Health and Safety Management System (ISO 45001:2018).
Empower has also refreshed its Information Security Management System certificate (ISO 27001:2022), which is the latest version of international standards concerning information security. This achievement follows a comprehensive series of audits conducted by Bureau Veritas at the organization’s headquarters and its district cooling stations, as well as the Elips factory located in Jebel Ali.
Ahmad Ben Shafar, the CEO of Empower, stated that the organization is committed to adopting the highest international standards and practices across its operational and administrative processes.
