The Ministry of Economy and Tourism organized a forum titled “UAE – Russia: Exchange of Experiences and Practices in Productivity,” aimed at fostering dialogue between the two nations regarding productivity and expanding the exchange of practical experiences in developing policies that support sustainable economic growth.
Abdul Rahman Al Saleh, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Economy and Tourism, emphasized that the UAE has made significant progress in supporting and enhancing its productivity framework as a fundamental pillar for boosting the competitiveness of the national economy. He noted that in recent years, the country has adopted various modern and advanced policies that have strengthened its leadership in new economic sectors, developed a flexible economic model based on knowledge and innovation, improved human capital efficiency, and accelerated digital transformation across various economic activities.
During the forum, discussions focused on strategies for developing skilled human capital, boosting labor productivity, and enhancing productivity in the industrial, tourism, and small to medium-sized enterprise sectors. Additionally, the forum explored mechanisms to enable companies to adopt more efficient operational models relying on innovation and modern technologies.
