Mohammed Musbah Al Naimi, the Chairman of the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, as well as the head of the Ras Al Khaimah Center for Mediation and Arbitration, welcomed a delegation from the Erbil Chamber of Commerce and Industry in Iraq. The delegation was led by Gilan Haji Said, the chamber president, accompanied by Dr. Mohammed Shihab, the head of the Higher Committee of the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, along with several officials from the Kurdistan Union of Chambers and the Erbil Chamber.
During the visit, two cooperation agreements were signed: the first between the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber of Commerce and the Erbil Chamber, and the second between the Union of Chambers of Commerce and Industry in the Kurdistan Region and the Ras Al Khaimah Center for Mediation and Arbitration.
Al Naimi expressed the chamber’s commitment to strengthening relations between the UAE and the Republic of Iraq, emphasizing the importance of sharing information and ideas to open new avenues for economic and commercial collaboration.
The President of the Erbil Chamber of Commerce highlighted that UAE investors rank third in terms of investment in the Kurdistan Region and extended an invitation for the Ras Al Khaimah Chamber leadership and members to visit Erbil.
