RAKEZ and UAE-India Partnership Council Boost Startup Innovation

Ras Al Khaimah Economic Zone (RAKEZ) has announced a memorandum of understanding aimed at launching a series of Emirati and Indian startups, a move designed to strengthen collaboration between the two nations in support of entrepreneurs and innovative projects.

The memorandum was signed in the presence of Yasser Abdullah Al Ahmad, Head of Government and Institutional Communication at RAKEZ, and Ahmed Al Janibi, Director of the UAE-India Economic Partnership Council.

Under this agreement, both parties will work together to implement the Emirati-Indian startup initiative. This initiative seeks to identify and support leading innovative Indian projects looking to expand globally. A total of 20 startups will be selected after a comprehensive evaluation as part of an event taking place in New Delhi, where five winners will be ultimately chosen.
