The “Namaa” Foundation has successfully concluded its series of sessions titled “Namaa Dialogues 2025,” engaging 336 women over the span of five months in educational gatherings held in Sharjah and Fujairah. The initiative aimed to empower women both intellectually and professionally, while enhancing their social, economic, and legal awareness on topics impacting their daily lives. Additionally, it sought to bolster their capacity to make informed decisions that strengthen their presence in financial, technological, and economic sectors.
The sessions revolved around three main themes, addressing various topics. The first theme focused on “Women and Financial Risks,” where 97 women participated in Sharjah, including students, graduates, employees, homemakers, and retirees, to raise financial awareness and support decision-making based on risk understanding. The second theme, “Artificial Intelligence and Practical Tools for Increasing Income,” benefited 97 women of different ages and interests by enhancing their knowledge of using AI tools to improve efficiency and diversify their income sources. The final theme, “Women in Technical and Engineering Fields,” provided an encouraging framework aimed at supporting 142 final-year female students and recent graduates in STEM disciplines to help them advance their careers.
Maryam Al Hamadi, the General Director of the Namaa Foundation, stated that this year’s dialogue topics represent a developmental triangle vital for every individual, particularly for women. This initiative combined awareness of financial decisions, the capability to utilize future tools, and the enhancement of women’s presence in technological and knowledge sectors. These aspects together create a holistic system that empowers women to understand their realities, manage their resources, and create new opportunities in an expanding world of options.
She further added that reaching out to 336 women and equipping them with specialized knowledge in these fields contributes to a broader impact within the community. The knowledge gained reflects on the daily lives of participants and enhances their ability to share what they have learned within their families and workplaces. Thus, each woman becomes capable of conveying knowledge, making more informed decisions, or embarking on new professional experiences that benefit her family and environment. This is where the role of Namaa materializes in creating a growing impact that begins with women and extends to the entire community.
