Etihad Airways has announced the launch of a new service to Luxembourg, marking it as the first airline from the Middle East to operate flights to this destination. Direct flights will commence on October 29, connecting Luxembourg with Abu Dhabi. The airline plans to operate this route three times a week using its latest A321LR aircraft.
This new air route will enhance connectivity for both business and leisure travelers and will also help strengthen the economic and cultural ties between the European Union and the United Arab Emirates. As Luxembourg serves as a key gateway to France, Germany, and Belgium, this service further establishes Etihad Airways’ presence in these broader European markets.
Antonoaldo Neves, the CEO of Etihad Airways, stated that, for the first time, Luxembourg will have a direct link to the Middle East, with Etihad being the sole airline providing nonstop flights to Abu Dhabi. This route is not only about air connectivity but also aims to create new bridges between Europe and the UAE, opening up opportunities for business, tourism, and cultural exchange.
Guests will benefit from access to Etihad’s extensive global network, with seamless connections through Abu Dhabi International Airport to a variety of destinations, including popular locations in Thailand, Singapore, South Korea, Japan, Indonesia, and India.
