Introductory Presentation
During the meeting, a comprehensive presentation was given, highlighting Dubai’s strategic advantages as a global business hub, potential areas for collaboration between Dubai and the Philippines, and the competitive benefits available to Filipino companies operating in the emirate.
The visit comes as trade and investment relations between Dubai and the Philippines continue to grow, with non-oil bilateral trade reaching 3.1 billion dirhams in 2024. In the first nine months of 2025, 653 Filipino companies joined the Dubai Chamber, bringing the total number of active Filipino companies registered with the Chamber to 2508 by the end of September last year.
Last year, the Dubai Chamber, one of the three chambers operating under the Dubai Chamber umbrella, organized a trade mission to the Philippines, which included representatives from 17 private sector companies in Dubai across various industries. During the mission, 180 one-on-one business meetings were held between mission participants and Filipino companies to explore collaboration opportunities, expand operations, and establish new partnerships across all sectors.
Additionally, during the mission in Manila, a forum titled “Doing Business with the Philippines” was conducted, attended by 314 participants. The Dubai Chamber signed a memorandum of understanding with the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry to enhance bilateral trade relations and explore new collaboration avenues between the business communities of Dubai and the Philippines.
