Tomorrow, the 21st edition of the SteelFab 2026 exhibition will kick off at the Sharjah Expo Center. This event is the largest gathering for the metalworking industry in the Middle East and North Africa, organized by the Sharjah Expo Center in collaboration with the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry, and will run until January 15.
More than 350 exhibitors from 35 countries will participate, representing top local and international companies in the metalworking sector. Additionally, over 600 brands will showcase the latest products, solutions, and technologies in the steel and iron industry.
The event will feature participation from leading countries in the field, including the UAE, Germany, the UK, China, Turkey, India, Taiwan, and Thailand, with large national pavilions highlighting major manufacturing and trading companies. Also present will be several notable regional firms.
Occupying 25,000 square meters, the exhibition will display cutting-edge equipment and machinery for steel production, metal forming technologies, low-cost laser systems for metal cutting, as well as artificial intelligence-driven robots and applications related to the fourth industrial revolution in the steel sector.
SteelFab 2026 is expected to attract over 7,000 visitors, including industry professionals, business leaders, and investors, along with major global producers and representatives from local and regional companies focused on advancing solutions in the metal industries.
The exhibition will also feature the fifth edition of the “Best Welder” competition, organized in cooperation with ESAB and the Middle East Institute of Industrial Training, aimed at promoting excellence and professional skills in welding among participants from various companies.
The exhibition’s agenda includes a robust lineup of sessions and panel discussions featuring experts and leaders from the industry, addressing key issues such as the future of the steel industry, sustainability, market shifts, structural steel, and the latest global developments in this sector.
Additionally, the event will provide a platform for one-on-one business meetings sponsored by Aladdin Company, enabling participants to engage in commercial deals, forge strategic partnerships, and connect local manufacturers with international supply chains, thereby enhancing growth opportunities and supporting the UAE’s aim to solidify its industrial economy and reinforce Sharjah’s status as a regional hub for specialized industrial exhibitions.
The exhibition will be open daily from 10 AM to 6 PM, welcoming visitors and professionals from various sectors to explore the latest innovations and technologies in the steel and iron industry.
