Services
Rashed Al-Saad, Acting Assistant Undersecretary for Labor Market Services at the Ministry, remarked, “The ministry’s services align with the UAE’s government service leadership goals. We have expanded the types of work permits and employment contracts to six approved models that cater to the rapid economic development needs of the UAE and the future economy. This aims to balance the interests of contracting parties while providing competitive and innovative services. The ministry has successfully completed the second phase of the ‘Zero-Bureaucracy’ program, which included the simplification and elimination of numerous processes, along with enhancing digital service platforms for all transactions.”
The seminar is part of efforts to increase companies’ awareness of related laws and regulations, providing them with the essential information to understand their legal obligations.

The seminar discussed the various types of work permits available, detailing the service channels and procedures for each type, as well as the associated terms and conditions. This includes the recruitment of workers from abroad, worker transfer and work permit replacement, temporary work permits, and part-time permits. Additionally, different patterns of employment contracts were explained, such as full-time, part-time, flexible, temporary, and remote work, aiding companies in choosing contract models that fit their operational needs.
