Emirates Central Cooling Systems Corporation (Empower), the largest provider of district cooling services globally, has reaffirmed its commitment to promoting sustainable development within the UAE by adopting highly efficient district cooling solutions. This statement comes as the nation experiences continuous momentum in national and global efforts aimed at enhancing sustainability and climate action, coinciding with the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026.
This announcement aligns with the Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week 2026, organized by the Abu Dhabi Future Energy Company (Masdar), under the theme “A Comprehensive Launch Towards the Future,” taking place from January 11 to 15.
Empower underscored the critical role that district cooling systems play in advancing the sustainability agenda in the UAE, accelerating national efforts to reduce carbon emissions and improve energy efficiency.

Moreover, he noted, “We continue to support smart cities and green buildings in Dubai and major urban areas by investing in the latest technologies and innovations to enhance cooling efficiency and promote long-term sustainability.”
