WeDI Introduces Lightweight Kozer Truck in the UAE

UD Trucks, a Japanese manufacturer specializing in truck production, has officially introduced its new Quester model in the Emirati market. This launch marks a significant expansion of the brand’s offerings, aimed at assisting customers involved in urban applications and diverse distribution operations.

The new model comes in three categories based on gross vehicle weight and offers two engine options. It has been meticulously designed and engineered to cater to a broad spectrum of uses across various sectors, ensuring operators can efficiently carry out their daily tasks while optimizing operational uptime and minimizing costs.

With the arrival of the new Quester, UD Trucks can now provide a comprehensive range of models covering light, medium (Croner), and heavy (Quester) truck categories.

The new Quester model is a practical and reliable addition to the light truck segment, developed to meet daily business demands with high efficiency and reliability. It is available in three weight categories: 6.5 tons, 7.5 tons, and 8.5 tons, along with a variety of chassis options, giving customers the flexibility to select configurations that precisely align with their operational needs.

Depending on the chosen model, the Quester is equipped with either a 3.0-liter or 5.2-liter engine, compliant with European emissions standard Euro 4, and can be paired with a six-speed manual transmission or an automated manual transmission. This combination provides a balanced mix of robust performance, load capacity, and operational efficiency. The powertrain system has been designed to suit urban environments and distribution tasks characterized by frequent stops and starts, ensuring smooth driving and reliable daily performance that meets operator expectations.
