Abu Dhabi Chamber Honors Leading Companies with “Sustainability Seal” During Abu Dhabi Week 2026

The Abu Dhabi Chamber of Commerce and Industry recognized several leading companies that received the “Sustainability Mark” during the events of the 2026 Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. This initiative underscores the chamber’s commitment to fostering a shift towards more sustainable business practices and enhancing the readiness and competitiveness of private sector entities in alignment with national goals for sustainable economic development.

This award is part of the “Sustainability Mark” program launched by the chamber to reinforce sustainability standards within the business community and encourage companies to adopt responsible practices in environmental, social responsibility, and governance areas. This, in turn, enhances their reliability and capacity for growth in both local and global markets.

The varied nature of the awarded companies demonstrates the widespread application of sustainability across different sectors in the emirate, affirming that sustainable business practices have become a critical component in enhancing institutional performance, managing risks, and achieving long-term value.

In a statement, His Excellency Shams Ali Khalfan Al Dhaheri, the chamber’s second vice chairman and managing director, noted: “The Abu Dhabi Chamber believes that sustainability has become a fundamental pillar for building a competitive economy that can adapt to future changes. Honoring companies that have achieved the sustainability mark reflects our commitment to supporting the private sector and enhancing its institutional readiness and sustainable growth.”

The “Sustainability Mark” program relies on a comprehensive practical framework that includes readiness assessments, capacity building, and institutional classification. It allows companies to evaluate their sustainability maturity level, identify development priorities, and gradually transition to applicable sustainable practices within their operations, while also providing advisory support and practical tools to boost their reliability and access funding and investment opportunities.
