Dubai Chamber Supports “Barakah Dates” Expansion in Indonesia

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has facilitated the expansion of Al Barakah Dates, a Dubai-based company specializing in date products, into the Indonesian market. This support has helped the company grow its business, discover new clients, and sign a partnership with PT Savani Indo Macmore, a beverage manufacturing firm in Indonesia.

The Dubai Chamber’s global office in Indonesia played a crucial role in assisting the company’s market entry and facilitating the agreement, connecting both parties and providing necessary support throughout the process. This collaboration has resulted in a commercial supply contract that strengthens Dubai’s position as a global hub for high-quality food production.

Saeed Al Shamsi, the Deputy CEO for International Relations at the Dubai Chamber, stated, “We are committed to facilitating cooperation between companies in Dubai and their counterparts globally, fostering business growth, supporting local firms in entering international markets, and enhancing the competitiveness of the private sector in Dubai.” This partnership elevates Al Barakah Dates’ status among the leading exporters of date syrup to Indonesia, where it holds a significant market share, making Indonesia the fifth largest export market for the company worldwide.

This is a pivotal move in Al Barakah Dates’ growth strategy within Southeast Asia, paving the way for continuous and long-term export activities in a market with significant potential, where the company has strong logistical capabilities and a robust commercial presence.
