DXB Live, the event management arm of the Dubai World Trade Centre, has announced the success of the fifth edition of the Dubai Coffee World 2026, which has achieved record results solidifying Dubai’s position as a leading regional hub for specialty coffee. The sixth edition is set to take place from January 26 to 28, 2027, at the Dubai World Trade Centre.
The 2026 event attracted over 20,000 specialized visitors from more than 80 countries, featuring participation from over 2,100 companies and brands across 78 nations, alongside nine national pavilions, making it the largest in the global coffee exhibition series to date.
Statistics revealed that industry professionals and workforce comprised 83% of all attendees, with international participation exceeding 70%. Furthermore, 63% of the visitors were first-time participants, while decision-makers and procurement officials made up 68% of the overall attendance. Notably, 60% of these attendees reported finalizing deals or entering into new agreements and partnerships during the event.
According to Khalid Al Hamadi, Executive Vice President at DXB Live, the Dubai Coffee World has reached a significant juncture where success is measured by tangible results. He emphasized that this year’s event demonstrated the exhibition’s role as a genuine platform for deal-making, product launches, discovering new sources, and announcing business partnerships, highlighting Dubai’s increasing status as a global focal point for specialty coffee professionals.
Shouq Ben Redha, the event director, noted that the event reaffirmed its status as a comprehensive platform for knowledge exchange, networking, and innovation. She pointed to rising interest from experts, decision-makers, and global brands, reflecting the growing maturity of the specialty coffee sector in the region and fostering industry growth locally and regionally.
During the event, 14 memorandums of understanding and partnerships were signed between 23 companies, organizations, and entities. This included the renewal of the partnership between the Specialty Coffee Association and DXB Live to organize the exhibition for five more years until 2031, as well as a contract to host the Bahrain Coffee Festival for three years, alongside additional local, regional, and global collaboration agreements.
At the conclusion of the fifth edition, over 90% of exhibitors expressed their intention to return for future participation, with 50% of the space for the sixth edition already reserved during the exhibition days, indicating strong confidence in the event’s future and ongoing growth.
