Emirates Airlines Operates 100 Flights To and From Dubai Over Two Days

An Emirates spokesperson stated, “Emirates is currently operating a limited flight schedule until further notice, following the partial reopening of some airspace in the region, which allows for a safe resumption of commercial flights.”

On March 5 and 6, Emirates plans to operate over 100 flights to and from Dubai, transporting passengers to their destinations and delivering essential goods, including perishables and pharmaceuticals.

The airline will gradually rebuild its flight schedule based on airspace availability and operational requirements. Safety remains our utmost priority, and we are continuously monitoring the situation and adjusting our operations accordingly.

At this time, customers are urged to go to the airport only if they have a confirmed booking.

Customers are also encouraged to check emirates.com and their official social media channels for the latest updates.

In addition, Emirates has announced limited bookings for scheduled flights to and from Dubai, following the partial reopening of airspace in the region.

In an update released yesterday at 12:55 Dubai time, the company confirmed it is operating a limited number of flights until further notice, prioritizing customers whose previous bookings were affected by flight suspensions.

It was emphasized that transit passengers at Dubai can only continue their journeys if their connecting flight from Dubai to their next destination is confirmed, advising travelers not to head to the airport unless they have a confirmed reservation.

Emirates also stated that it is consistently monitoring the operational situation, with flight schedules being updated according to new information, which will be published on their website.

The airline urged customers to verify their flight status before proceeding to the airport and to check their emails for any notifications regarding changes or cancellations, reaffirming that the safety of travelers and crew members is its top priority.

Furthermore, for customers with bookings from February 28 to March 31, they can rebook on an alternative flight to their original destination up to April 30 or request a ticket refund if booked directly with the airline.

Those who made reservations through travel agencies should contact the relevant agency. All city check-in locations in Dubai will remain temporarily closed until further notice.

Zayed Airport

Zayed International Airport, in coordination with the Emergency and Crisis Management Center of Abu Dhabi, has resumed limited flight operations following a period of disruption, showcasing the resilience and effective response capabilities of Abu Dhabi.

The efforts made in recent days were part of a stringent coordination to implement the highest safety standards in close collaboration with various sectors and stakeholders to ensure comprehensive support for affected travelers.

This coordinated response included the provision of over 4,300 complimentary hotel rooms across 74 hotels for around 7,000 passengers, ensuring a comfortable stay for those impacted by changes in flight schedules.

The collaborative efforts with local authorities facilitated an integrated support network, offering shuttle transportation, refreshments, hospitality services, medical assistance, and shopping vouchers to enhance travelers’ comfort during this transitional phase.

Abu Dhabi Airports reaffirms its commitment to prioritizing the safety and well-being of its guests and employees, urging travelers with confirmed bookings to liaise with the respective airlines for the latest flight schedules and to refrain from visiting Zayed International Airport until they receive clear directions regarding their departure times.

Sharjah Airport

Sharjah International Airport Authority has emphasized the importance of travelers checking their flight status with airlines prior to heading to the airport, given that most flights remain suspended.

Entry to the airport is restricted to passengers with confirmed bookings only, ensuring smooth operational flow.

<h2 Air Arabia

Air Arabia has warned about fake accounts and fraudulent activities, reaffirming that its only official social media account is the verified one with a golden verification mark.

The airline explained that booking confirmations and ticket details are communicated solely via its official email, urging travelers to manage their bookings through the airline’s official website.

Customers are advised to be cautious of any messages, links, or accounts claiming to represent the airline via unofficial channels to protect travelers’ data and interests.
