Emirates Airlines has announced the availability of limited bookings for select flights to and from Dubai following a partial reopening of the airspace in the region.
In an update released today at 12:55 PM Dubai time, the airline specified that it is currently operating a limited number of flights until further notice, prioritizing those customers who previously had reservations impacted by the suspension of flights.
The airline confirmed that transit passengers traveling through Dubai can only continue their journeys if their onward flight from Dubai to their next destination is confirmed. Moreover, it advised travelers not to head to the airport unless they have a confirmed booking.
Emirates Airlines stated that it is continuously monitoring the operational situation and will update flight schedules as new information becomes available, publishing the latest updates on its website.
Customers are urged to check their flight status before going to the airport and to review their email for any notifications regarding changes or cancellations, with the assurance that the safety and security of passengers and crew members remain the airline’s top priority.
Furthermore, customers with bookings for travel between February 28 and March 31 can rebook onto an alternative flight to their original destination by April 30 or request a ticket refund if the booking was made directly with the airline. Those who booked through travel agencies should contact the respective agency.
The airline also indicated that all check-in points within Dubai will remain temporarily closed until further notice.
