Abu Dhabi International Airport has resumed limited operational flights in coordination with the Emergency, Crisis and Disaster Management Center of Abu Dhabi, following a period of disruptions. This action highlights the resilience of Abu Dhabi’s integrated operational system and its capability for effective response.
The recent efforts over the past few days were part of a strict coordination process aimed at upholding the highest safety standards. This was achieved through close collaboration among various sectors and concerned authorities to ensure comprehensive support for the affected travelers.
As part of this unified response, over 4,300 complimentary hotel rooms were provided across 74 hotels for approximately 7,000 travelers, ensuring comfortable accommodations for those impacted by changes in flight schedules.
Additionally, collaborative efforts with local authorities facilitated the establishment of a seamless support network. This network included bus transportation services, refreshments, hospitality, medical care, and shopping vouchers to enhance the convenience of travelers during this transition period.
Abu Dhabi Airports reiterates its commitment to the top priority of ensuring the safety and well-being of its guests and staff. Travelers holding confirmed reservations are urged to contact their respective airlines for the latest flight schedule updates and are advised not to head to Abu Dhabi International Airport until receiving clear instructions regarding their departure times.
