Dubai Airshow has announced that registration is now open for its 19th edition, scheduled to take place from November 17 to 21 at Dubai World Central.
The event aims to revolutionize the aviation industry through a program focused on enhancing engagement, connectivity, and innovation.
This edition will serve as a key platform for accelerating future technologies and fostering collaboration across various sectors, reflecting the ambitious vision of the UAE and keeping pace with the rapidly growing aviation sector.
Recent data from the International Air Transport Association (IATA) indicates that the aviation industry in the UAE contributes $92 billion to the country’s GDP, which represents 18.2%, along with a projected annual growth of 5.1% for the commercial aircraft fleet in the Middle East over the next decade.
The airshow holds a prominent position as one of the largest and most influential events, once again bringing together a global group of decision-makers and innovators to shape the future of the industry. This opens opportunities for professionals and enthusiasts to secure their places at the forefront of aviation and defense innovation.
Lieutenant General Dr. Mubarak Saeed Bin Ghafan Al-Jabri, Executive Director of the Military Organizing Committee for the Dubai Airshow, stated that the event offers a platform to highlight the growing leadership role of the UAE in the aviation and defense sectors. As the industry continues to evolve rapidly, the Ministry of Defense remains committed to fostering innovation and building the capabilities that will define the future of the military sector. Supporting and empowering the next generation of talent is central to this vision, as we work to ensure that the UAE maintains its position at the cutting edge of global advancement.
This edition will introduce a new format for institutional communication by hosting a gathering on the tarmac for the first time, bringing together the elite of the global aviation sector for exclusive networking at Skydive Dubai.
The event is expected to be one of the highlights of the Dubai Airshow week, offering a blend of entertainment and informal business networking opportunities, along with displays of drone performances, skydiving, live musical acts featuring prominent DJs, and premium hospitality services.
Additionally, the show will launch nighttime events for the first time, designed to take place on the second day of the event until 9 PM. This allows attendees to further explore the ground exhibition, enjoy networking receptions, and view drone displays under the stars.
Moreover, beyond the new activities, the Dubai Airshow 2025 will continue to support innovation efforts and key ideas across various sectors, with a special focus on sustainability as the industry accelerates its push for more sustainable and efficient solutions.
The event will also see the return of Vista, a leading hub for startups in aviation and space innovation and investment, along with the recently launched NextGen Leaders program and academy aimed at providing emerging talent with the skills and guidance they need to thrive.
Furthermore, the exhibition will offer a range of tailored experiences to enhance communication and share insights within the sector.
The Space Executives Club will host high-level executives to discuss industry trends and opportunities for strategic collaboration.
The event features the broadest delegation program in the industry, supported by the Ministry of Defense, Dubai Civil Aviation Authority, and the Government of Dubai, in addition to a participant networking program enhanced by AI through the official event app.
All these activities reinforce the Dubai Airshow’s position as a prime meeting point for the global aviation and defense community.
Timothy Hawes, Managing Director of Informa Markets, noted that the Dubai Airshow has always centered on promoting advancements in aviation and defense. He emphasized that the 2025 edition will be the most comprehensive and future-focused yet, uniting global industry stakeholders through unprecedented and purposeful events that provide greater networking opportunities, showcase leading technologies, and enhance cooperation in strategically ambitious growth plans for governments in the region.
Furthermore, the Dubai Airshow plays a distinctive role in shaping the sector’s future. In line with this, we are excited to expand our efforts to engage with youth, inspiring the next generation of aviation leaders and equipping them with knowledge through initiatives that support education, opportunity, and innovation. The unique Sky View platform will be opened to the public, expecting to welcome over 15,000 visitors over five days, offering exclusive access to live air shows, interactive experiences, and entertainment activities.
