High Demand for “Shamsa Entertainment City” During “Sharjah Summer

Shamsa Entertainment City, the latest family-friendly attraction within the Sharjah Summer Offers 2025, has welcomed a significant number of visitors at Expo Centre Sharjah since its opening last week. The venue has quickly established itself as a standout feature of the summer activities organized by the Sharjah Chamber of Commerce and Industry in collaboration with the Sharjah Commerce and Tourism Development Authority.

During its first week, the entertainment city attracted considerable attention from families and children eager to enjoy a comprehensive leisure experience. Young visitors engaged with various activities, including enchanting bubble shows and live encounters with the beloved character Shamsa. This iconic figure was unveiled alongside the launch of Sharjah’s summer events, roaming the attractions and spreading joy among attendees with her cheerful demeanor while embodying both fun and the preservation of Sharjah’s rich cultural values.

According to Aisha Saleh, Head of Festival and Events at the Sharjah Chamber, the success of the new entertainment venue in drawing visitors aligns with a broader strategic vision shared by the Chamber and the Tourism Authority. This initiative aims to transcend the seasonal nature of promotional activities, transforming them into sustainable entertainment offerings.
