Emirates Airlines plans to broaden its premium economy class offerings to include four cities across the Middle East and West Asia on its new Airbus A350 aircraft, along with upgraded Airbus A380 and Boeing 777 planes.
The premium economy and newly introduced business class seats will be available on an increased number of flights to and from Amman, Mumbai, Muscat, and Bahrain, allowing customers greater access to the airline’s renowned high-quality products onboard, as well as a seamless experience connecting through Dubai to destinations also serviced by the new Airbus A350, Boeing 777, and updated Airbus A380.
Emirates Airlines will roll out these aircraft as follows:
· Amman: Starting October 26, 2025, with the Airbus A380 featuring a four-class configuration on the two daily flights EK 903 and EK 904.
· Mumbai: Commencing October 26, 2025, using the updated Boeing 777 with 22 weekly flights on EK 504 and EK 505.
· Muscat: Beginning October 30, 2025, with the new Airbus A350 on flights EK 862 and EK 863 every Thursday and Saturday, allowing customers to experience the new aircraft across all nine weekly flights to Muscat.
· Bahrain: From December 4, 2025, the updated Boeing 777 will be added to flights to Bahrain via EK 833 and EK 834 on Thursdays.
These additions will enhance the availability of premium economy seats on over 635 weekly flights within the Emirates network. With the winter season approaching, the airline is expected to serve 68 cities with premium economy, including 36 cities featuring flights operated entirely with premium economy cabins.
As demand for premium travel grows, Emirates is strategically expanding its premium economy seat availability and anticipates offering over 2 million seats by the end of 2025. Currently, there are more than 1.8 million available seats in this class across its destination network.
The upgrade program for Emirates’ fleet is one of the largest in the aviation industry, consisting of comprehensive rejuvenation of its aircraft, which takes about three weeks per plane. So far, the airline has completed upgrades on 67 aircraft as part of an overarching plan involving 219 aircraft, including 110 Airbus A380s and 109 Boeing 777s. Moreover, Emirates is currently operating nine new Airbus A350s across 15 destinations.
