This trend underscores the UAE’s commitment to promoting gender equality and empowering women, especially as the country anticipates the upcoming Emirati Women’s Day on August 28.
Sofrin further noted that the entrepreneurship and small-to-medium enterprise sectors are experiencing significant growth, thanks in part to the proliferation of business incubators, accelerators, and networks aimed at supporting women in various Emirates. This integrated system offers female entrepreneurs new opportunities to launch and expand their ventures.

From AI-powered financial applications to health, wellness, and fitness projects, women are capitalizing on the supportive business climate to launch forward-thinking companies that are well-positioned for the future.
The UAE government continues to bolster women’s entrepreneurship through initiatives like the Khalifa Fund for Enterprise Development, which provides low-interest loans and guidance in business plan preparation, alongside the National Policy for the Empowerment of Emirati Women 2023–2031.
