FlyDubai has entered into a new partnership with Romanian airline TAROM, enabling its passengers to easily access 15 destinations within TAROM’s network through Bucharest Airport.
This collaboration will provide travelers with a broader range of options for journeys between the UAE and Romania, including popular destinations such as Athens, Amsterdam, Brussels, Cluj-Napoca, Frankfurt, and Paris.
Commenting on the partnership, Ramesh Anantharaman, Senior Vice President of Revenue Management and Business Effectiveness at FlyDubai, stated: “We are pleased to welcome TAROM to our expanding list of partners for connecting flights. This new agreement offers FlyDubai customers seamless access to the TAROM regional network across Eastern and Central Europe, enhancing trade, tourism, and cultural exchange. Through this partnership, customers will enjoy smooth travel experiences, a single ticket booking, and hassle-free baggage check-in to their final destination.”
FlyDubai has operated flights to Bucharest since 2012 and has experienced significant growth in travel demand to the market over the years. By closely collaborating with airline partners, including TAROM, FlyDubai continues to bolster Dubai’s status as a global aviation hub, creating more opportunities for commerce, travel, and tourism between the UAE, Romania, and the broader region.

Passengers flying in business class with FlyDubai can look forward to a premium travel experience featuring comfortable seating, globally-inspired meal selections, and hours of entertainment. Economy class travelers will also find comfort during their journey, thanks to reclining seats and adjustable leather headrests.
FlyDubai operates two daily flights from Dubai International Airport to Bucharest Henri Coandă International Airport. The airline plans to add Iași as its second destination in Romania starting September 19, 2025.
FlyDubai’s network has now expanded to include over 135 destinations across 57 countries. The airline has launched more than 100 previously unserved routes with direct flights to Dubai, supported by a modern and efficient fleet of 93 Boeing 737 aircraft.
