Fly Dubai Anticipates Partnership Agreement with Tarom Airlines

FlyDubai has entered into a new partnership with Romanian airline TAROM, enabling its passengers to easily access 15 destinations within TAROM’s network through Bucharest Airport.

This collaboration will provide travelers with a broader range of options for journeys between the UAE and Romania, including popular destinations such as Athens, Amsterdam, Brussels, Cluj-Napoca, Frankfurt, and Paris.

Commenting on the partnership, Ramesh Anantharaman, Senior Vice President of Revenue Management and Business Effectiveness at FlyDubai, stated: “We are pleased to welcome TAROM to our expanding list of partners for connecting flights. FlyDubai has operated flights to Bucharest since 2012 and has experienced significant growth in travel demand to the market over the years. By closely collaborating with airline partners, including TAROM, FlyDubai continues to bolster Dubai’s status as a global aviation hub, creating more opportunities for commerce, travel, and tourism between the UAE, Romania, and the broader region.

Costin Yurda, General Manager of TAROM, expressed: “As the national carrier of Romania, we are delighted to partner with FlyDubai. This strategic collaboration offers travelers dependable and convenient options, linking the two countries and enhancing tourism and business movements in the region.”

Passengers flying in business class with FlyDubai can look forward to a premium travel experience featuring comfortable seating, globally-inspired meal selections, and hours of entertainment. Economy class travelers will also find comfort during their journey, thanks to reclining seats and adjustable leather headrests.
