UAE Businesswomen Explore Collaboration Opportunities with Japan

The UAE Businesswomen Council, led by Aisha Mohammed Al-Mulla, participated yesterday in the second meeting of the UAE-Japan Business Council held in Tokyo, bringing together a distinguished group of representatives from institutions and companies of both nations.

The discussions at the meeting focused on enhancing economic and investment cooperation across strategic sectors including industry, renewable energy, healthcare, and modern technology. This participation underscored the Council’s pivotal role as a national platform supporting the initiatives of Emirati women and enhancing their international presence.

This engagement marked the Council’s official attendance in its new term, reflecting the vision of the UAE for 2071, which aims to build a sustainable knowledge-based economy founded on innovation.

Aisha Mohammed Al-Mulla delivered a presentation regarding the role of Emirati women in the business sector, highlighting their leadership in entrepreneurship and their contributions to innovation across various fields, including technology, renewable energy, and healthcare.

She praised the significant support provided by Her Highness Sheikha Fatima bint Mubarak, the honorary president of the UAE Businesswomen Council, through national policies, educational programs, and opportunities that enhance the standing of Emirati women within the economy and society.

Al-Mulla emphasized that the Council’s strategy in the coming phase will focus on establishing the global standing of Emirati women by building quality partnerships with international institutions and leveraging global experiences in entrepreneurship, innovation, and digital transformation. She indicated that the Council will work to support women entrepreneurs through specialized training programs and facilitate their participation in international platforms, alongside strengthening their involvement in future economic sectors like fintech, renewable energy, and the green economy.

The Council’s involvement in the international meeting represents a significant step toward promoting the UAE as a global model in women’s leadership and their integration into economic and social development. She affirmed that Emirati women, with their ambition and expertise, will continue to be essential partners in the nation’s journey towards a diverse and sustainable economy.
