Sharjah Entrepreneurship Center, known as “Sharak,” recently concluded its advanced Dojo entrepreneurship program for 2025 by hosting a final pitch day at the Sharjah Research, Technology, and Innovation Park.
The pitch event resulted in the recognition of three winning students, each presenting innovative projects in crucial sectors ranging from educational technology to sustainability and artificial intelligence.
These projects showcased the youth’s ability to devise practical solutions that promote sustainable development and create new avenues for growth. The winners received a total of 32,000 dirhams in grants, along with the opportunity to join the Sharjah Startup Studio program, which offers comprehensive support including licenses, visas, workspaces, and specialized mentorship for their entrepreneurial journeys.
The latest edition of the advanced Dojo program involved 34 startups from 14 universities. According to Abeer Al Amiri, the Manager of the Entrepreneurship Ecosystem Development Department, “The advanced Dojo entrepreneurship program serves as a strategic platform to empower youth in transforming their innovative ideas into scalable and growth-oriented projects. It provided a comprehensive training and mentorship environment that enhanced their readiness for investment and equipped them with the necessary tools and knowledge to confidently enter the market.”
The recognition of the three winners reflects the entrepreneurial potential within Sharjah’s university students and their ability to innovate practical solutions in priority sectors, contributing to the development of a new generation of entrepreneurs ready to compete both regionally and internationally.
