The “Future Scientists X” summit commenced yesterday at the Jumeirah Beach Hotel Conference Center, gathering prominent futurists, scientists, and innovators from around the globe to explore the impact of emerging technologies on the future of humanity.
The summit kicked off with a keynote address by Professor Brian Cox, a physicist and broadcaster from the BBC, in a session titled: “What Black Holes Teach Us About Humanity’s Future,” setting the stage for a day filled with transformative discussions on science, technology, and the human journey towards what lies ahead.
The first day featured a rich agenda, starting with a dialogue between Bret King and Robert Tercek concerning the future of humanity. This was followed by discussions on future geopolitics, next-generation information security, and practical applications of ideas inspired by science fiction, led by futurist Pablo Holman. Attendees also participated in sessions focused on AI-driven healthcare policies. Concurrent sessions addressed the rise of smart cities and the concept of independent living.
