The UAE Public Offering Guarantee Fund is embarking on a new phase of growth and expansion. This fund is the only one in the country dedicated solely to targeting initial public offerings (IPOs) and recent public subscription listings in regulated financial markets both locally and globally.
Initially launched in 2022 by the Guarantee Investment Company, the fund was originally limited to qualified institutional investors. It has recently been restructured to welcome individual investors, significantly lowering the minimum subscription amount to just 1,000 dirhams (or its equivalent in other currencies). This move represents a significant shift, providing a broader segment of investors with the opportunity to tap into the dynamic IPO market in the UAE.
Participants can now join in the impressive economic growth of the nation while also selectively gaining exposure to IPO markets in certain countries across the Middle East and North Africa, in addition to global listings over the past five years.
