Abu Dhabi International Airport has been honored with the award for “Best Airport for Shopping Experience” at the 2025 Frontier Awards, marking another significant milestone in its journey as a premier global destination for exceptional travel experiences, commercial innovation, and architectural excellence.
The announcement of this award took place during the Global Conference and Exhibition of the Duty Free World Federation (TFWA) held in Cannes, representing a continuation of recognition received by the airport in the same awards from last year.
This latest accolade adds to the growing list of awards won by Abu Dhabi airports, including the recognition of Abu Dhabi International Airport as the “Most Beautiful Airport in the World” at the previous year’s Prix Versailles awards, reinforcing Abu Dhabi’s standing as a global benchmark in airport design and travel experiences.
At the same event, the store “Presentedby” from the company Avolta received the “Best Specialty Concept” award, acknowledging its innovative approach that has captivated millions of travelers at Abu Dhabi International Airport through exceptional design, creativity, and consumer engagement.
