Emirates Airlines, the largest international carrier in the world, has announced the addition of six weekly flights to its London Heathrow route starting from October 26. This expansion aims to provide more travel opportunities and greater flexibility for passengers, coinciding with a peak travel season at the end of the year following a surge in demand.
Currently, Emirates operates six daily flights to and from London Heathrow using its Airbus A380 aircraft. The new flights will be scheduled every day of the week except Friday throughout the winter season and will utilize the Boeing 777, which accommodates over 350 passengers across three classes: First, Business, and Economy.
The new flight schedules have been strategically designed to provide nighttime departures from London Heathrow to Dubai, facilitating seamless connections to destinations such as Durban, Phuket, Kuala Lumpur, Hong Kong, Beijing, Shenzhen, Guangzhou, and Jakarta. Additionally, travelers arriving at Heathrow from cities in West Asia, such as Ahmedabad, Lahore, the Maldives, Hyderabad, and Chennai, as well as from major cities in mainland China like Beijing and Shanghai, will find ideal timings. Connections will also be available for numerous points across the Middle East, including Bahrain, Dammam, and Riyadh.
Flight EK 41 departs Dubai at 1:40 PM and arrives at London Heathrow at 5:40 PM on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays. The return flight EK 42 leaves Heathrow at 10:35 PM on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Sundays, arriving in Dubai at 9:35 AM the following day. On Tuesdays and Saturdays, EK 42 departs Heathrow at 9:20 PM, reaching Dubai at 8:20 AM the next morning. (All times are local to Dubai and London).
On Thursdays, flight EK 41 will leave Dubai at 12:55 PM and reach Heathrow at 4:55 PM, while EK 42 will depart Heathrow at 9:20 PM, arriving in Dubai the next morning at 8:20 AM. (All times are local to Dubai and London).
As a result, Emirates will increase its services to London Heathrow and Gatwick to a total of 90 weekly flights by early next year. Last month, the airline announced the introduction of a fourth daily flight to Gatwick starting February 8, 2026, on its latest Airbus A350 aircraft.
By February 2026, Emirates will operate a total of 146 weekly flights to the UK, covering all three London airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, and Stansted, along with regional airports such as Manchester, Birmingham, Newcastle, Glasgow, and Edinburgh.
Every Emirates customer is set to experience exceptional travel comfort and hospitality on board. The airline offers a remarkable dining experience in the air, featuring a multi-course menu inspired by regional cuisines crafted by award-winning chefs.
