Oracle Expands Its Presence in Dubai with an AI Innovation Center

Oracle has announced its expansion into Dubai Internet City with the launch of a customer experience center that will showcase the latest artificial intelligence solutions and innovations.

The center was inaugurated by Abdalla Balhou, CEO of Tecom Group, along with Ammar Al Malik, Executive Vice President of Tecom Group – Commercial Sector and General Manager of Dubai Internet City.

The new customer experience center features a revamped Zayed Innovation Center, recognized as one of the first AI-dedicated centers established in the UAE.

This innovation hub will provide customers, partners, and government leaders in the UAE and across the Middle East with opportunities to explore Oracle’s enterprise-ready AI solutions through interactive displays and real-world use cases.

Designed to aid organizations in accelerating AI innovation and unlocking new business avenues, the center takes advantage of over 200 Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) services and Oracle Fusion Cloud applications tailored to various industries, enhanced with AI capabilities and generative AI platforms.

Additionally, the center features the renowned Oracle Red Bull Racing experience, where visitors can immerse themselves in the thrill of driving a championship-winning Formula 1 car and learn about the role of real-time data powered by Oracle Cloud in supporting the team’s success.

Ammar Al Malik emphasized that collaboration to foster innovation is a fundamental aspect of maintaining Dubai’s leading position in the global technology sector.

He stated, “At Dubai Internet City, we continue our dedicated efforts to support and empower visionary innovators through a comprehensive business environment, which has contributed for more than 25 years to the growth of the digital economy in Dubai and the region.”

He added, “Oracle has always been a key partner in our ambitious journey towards building a digitally innovative future with advanced technologies, including AI solutions. We are pleased to see this prominent global company continue its expansion within our leading complex, contributing to the goals outlined in the Dubai Economic Agenda D33.”

The opening of the new customer experience center underscores Oracle’s ongoing collaboration with Dubai Internet City to bolster the emirate’s digital economy, and reinforces Oracle’s role in supporting the UAE’s vision to become a global leader in AI adoption and advanced technologies.

Nick Readshow, Senior Vice President of Technology for the Middle East and Africa and Regional Director of Oracle in the UAE, remarked, “For over 36 years, Oracle has been a trusted technology partner to the UAE, with Dubai serving as a strategic hub for our regional and global operations. With the new customer experience center at Dubai Internet City, we reaffirm our commitment to the UAE by bringing cutting-edge AI technologies closer to our customers and partners.
