Established in 1985, Emirates was born from the bold vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE, and has transformed over four decades into a global symbol of leadership and excellence under the guidance of His Highness Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.
He pointed out that Emirates Airline serves as an inspiring model of dreams that evolve into projects, which, in turn, become benchmarks of success and distinction, affirming that Dubai does not recognize impossibility, where ambitions soar high.
In a post on the social media platform X, he stated, “Emirates Airline was founded in 1985 and has soared with the courageous vision of His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, transforming this dream after forty years into a global brand that epitomizes leadership and excellence under the leadership of Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum.”
