Dubai Industrial City, part of the Tecom Group, has announced a collaboration with Legend Holding Group, which will invest 300 million dirhams to establish a comprehensive center focused on mobility and green energy solutions. This facility will span over one million square feet and is set to commence operations in 2027.
This project is viewed as a strategic initiative aimed at fostering a shift towards sustainable manufacturing and enhancing the automotive supply chain capabilities. It aligns with the objectives of the “300 Billion Project,” the “Make in UAE” initiative, and Dubai’s economic agenda “D33.”
The center will feature production lines for electric and conventional motorcycles, along with facilities for electric vehicle charging solutions and after-sales services, incorporating solar energy systems for electricity generation.
Soud Abu Shwarab, Executive Vice President of Tecom Group’s industrial sector, emphasized that this project reflects the growing confidence in the infrastructure and strategic location of Dubai Industrial City. He asserted that the new center will contribute to the development of sustainable mobility and promote innovation in vehicle manufacturing and clean energy.
Dubai Industrial City hosts over 1,100 companies and 350 factories operating across various vital sectors. It provides a comprehensive ecosystem that includes industrial land, storage facilities, and logistics services, playing a crucial role in supporting the growth of the manufacturing sector in Dubai and the UAE for more than two decades.
