Abu Dhabi Ports Group and Avisto Group Form Strategic Partnership

Abu Dhabi Ports Group announced today that it has entered into a shareholders’ agreement with Avisto Group, one of the largest private industrial conglomerates in Tajikistan. This agreement aims to establish a joint venture focused on providing comprehensive logistics solutions and goods transportation services across the country.

Initial Operations and Objectives

Under the terms of this partnership, the joint venture will initially operate as a provider of light cargo shipping services. It will have exclusive rights to consolidate and manage all shipping and logistics activities for Avisto Group’s companies, while also offering services to third-party clients in the market.

Avisto Group’s Role

Avisto Group is recognized as a leading player in Tajikistan’s private sector, managing over 30 companies and factories across various industries. The group holds partnerships with eight major international institutions through joint projects.

Ownership Structure

Abu Dhabi Ports Group will hold a majority stake of 51% in the joint venture, while Avisto Group will retain a 49% share. A phased structure has been adopted to support long-term growth and enhance the operational capabilities of the venture.
