Abu Dhabi Customs Hosts the “Entrepreneurship Makers” Forum

The Abu Dhabi Customs organized the “Pioneers of Leadership” forum, aimed at enhancing concepts of excellence and sustainable leadership, while encouraging employees to adopt the best governmental and global practices. The event provided a platform for knowledge sharing and collaboration among various teams.

During the forum, led by Rashid Lahej Al Mansoori, the Director General of Abu Dhabi Customs, significant achievements of the department within the framework of governmental excellence were highlighted, along with discussions regarding future plans. Additionally, the winners of the “Al Hosn Internal Award 2025” were honored, which aims to foster a culture of excellence and innovation, celebrating the accomplishments of employees and teams from different departments, thereby contributing to elevated institutional performance and the achievement of strategic goals. A total of 36 individuals were recognized across 11 key categories, including supervisory, specialized, technical, artistic, field support, and customer happiness domains.

Rashid Al Mansoori stated that the organization of the “Pioneers of Leadership” forum exemplifies Abu Dhabi Customs’ commitment to achieving its strategic priorities by instilling a culture of excellence through innovative transformation and sustainability. It also focuses on shaping the future of customs work by managing professional talent and harnessing future technology in customs operations to attain digital leadership, thereby supporting Abu Dhabi Customs’ objectives and enhancing Abu Dhabi’s position as a global hub for trade and business.

He emphasized that Abu Dhabi Customs’ success in its digital transformation and the complete automation of customs operations, combined with the development of its customs system using advanced technologies, has led to positive outcomes reflected in performance indicators over recent years, culminating in receiving 162 regional and international awards between 2021 and 2025.
