ADNOC Logistics and Services has announced the appointment of Hugh Baker as the new Chief Financial Officer, effective immediately. Baker brings a wealth of experience in the maritime finance sector and capital markets, boasting over three decades of expertise in areas such as corporate finance, asset financing, investor relations, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance.
Prior to joining ADNOC Logistics and Services, Baker was a key partner at Elsworth Maritime, where he provided advisory services in debt for global shipping companies and represented Deka Bank in marine lending across North America.
Before that, Baker spent a decade as the CFO of Eniti Inc, a New York Stock Exchange-listed firm, where he led financial strategy, capital raising, and investor relations. During his tenure, he successfully executed over 100 financial and commercial transactions, raising more than $15 billion through debt and equity instruments.
His previous experience also includes leadership positions at Scorpio Tankers Inc., Evercore Partners, HSH Nordbank, and ING Bank, specializing in marine asset financing and strategic consulting.
