As part of its ongoing efforts to enhance government operational efficiency and improve the supplier experience, the Finance Department of Ajman organized an introductory meeting for its partners from Ajman government suppliers regarding the updated version of the “Procurement” system. The event took place at the Umm Al-Momineen Association.
The purpose of the meeting was to highlight the key updates and improvements made to the “Procurement” system and to engage suppliers in exploring ways to further develop it by gathering their valuable feedback and suggestions. This ensures that the system aligns with their needs and future aspirations.
Sahar Al-Taniji, Director of the Financial Applications Department, emphasized the significance of this meeting, stating that the continuous development of the “Procurement” system is central to our strategic goals aimed at enhancing efficiency and transparency in public procurement management, as well as improving the experience for our supplier partners. Our aim through this meeting is to strengthen partnership and direct communication with them, ensuring that the system serves as a comprehensive digital platform that meets the needs of all stakeholders.
She added that supplier participation in this meeting represents a crucial step towards building a more effective and integrated procurement experience, fostering collaboration between the public and private sectors, and supporting Ajman’s journey in adopting innovative digital solutions that enhance work efficiency and service quality, ultimately leading to an improved quality of life and promoting sustainable development in the emirate.
