Abu Dhabi Ports Group has announced the establishment of a partnership between its digital arm, “Maqta Technology,” and Virginia-based “Big Bear AI.”
The collaboration was unveiled at the World Customs Organization Technology Conference and Exhibition 2026 in Abu Dhabi, where both parties aim to explore joint development opportunities and provide advanced digital solutions to enhance customs and border services for government entities and port operators globally.
Maqta Technology and Big Bear AI will work together to identify collaborative opportunities in research, design, development, testing, and implementation of digital platforms that support customs management, border operations, and cross-border trade.
Additionally, both companies will seek to expand their cooperation beyond their domestic markets and investigate international business opportunities with customs authorities, governmental bodies, port operators, and global stakeholders.
