Dubai Customs, represented by the Dubai Logistics Academy, in collaboration with the “Kafa’at” program from the Emirates Competitiveness Council, recently celebrated the graduation of a new cohort from the “Masar 33” program. These graduates earned the Certified Specialist in Customs and Trade Operations certification during a ceremony themed “Partnership and Empowerment.”
Rashid Obaid Al-Sharid, Executive Director of Financial and Administrative Affairs at Dubai Customs, emphasized that investing in national competencies is fundamental to achieving economic leadership. He further noted that the academy acts as a national center of expertise, fostering the development of new generations and building a human capital capable of leading future initiatives.
The program attracted high school and university graduates who are UAE nationals and currently unemployed. Participants underwent an intensive training program lasting 32 days, which covered both theoretical and practical aspects, culminating in employment opportunities at major companies in the logistics sector.
