The General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs in Dubai showcased its innovative digital services at the 2025 Dubai International Airshow, attracting significant visitor engagement eager to learn more about their offerings through an interactive platform located at Dubai World Central.
On the first day of the event, Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri, the director-general of the General Directorate, along with Major General Obaid Muhair bin Surour, the deputy director-general, and Major General Talal Ahmed Al Shenaqiti, the assistant director-general for Air Ports Affairs, were present to review the various digital initiatives and services on display.
The initiatives included Golden Visa, Command and Control Platform, Digital Safety Platform, Platform 04, visa for Gulf Cooperation Council residents, Smart Tunnel (Red Carpet), and the Happiness Card for tourists.
Major General Mohammed Ahmed Al Marri stated, “Our participation in the exhibition aligns with our vision of providing advanced digital services that enhance the visitor’s journey from the moment they arrive in Dubai.”
He emphasized the importance of aligning services with the aspirations and strategies of the emirate, aiming to deliver an experience that reflects Dubai’s status as a global city that fundamentally relies on innovation to improve government operations.
Visitors expressed notable interest in the interactive experiences offered at the platform, highlighting the future of digital government services and showcasing the efforts of the General Directorate to support the journeys of visitors and investors, ultimately enhancing the quality of life in the emirate.
