Dubai World Chamber Launches Its First Representative Office in Poland

The Dubai Chamber of Commerce has officially inaugurated its first representative office in Eastern Europe, situated in the capital city of Warsaw, Poland. This initiative underscores the chamber’s dedication to strengthening economic ties and exploring business and investment opportunities between Dubai and Poland.

The launch event featured the presence of Mohamed Ahmed Al-Harbi, the UAE Ambassador to Poland, and Michal Jarosz, Poland’s State Minister for Economic Development and Technology, along with various officials and business leaders. This new office marks a significant step in the “Dubai Global” initiative, which aims to establish 50 international representative offices by 2030. It enhances Dubai’s position as a leading global business hub, attracts foreign direct investment, and supports the expansion of local companies into 30 priority markets globally.

Mohamed Ali Rashed Lootah, Director General of the Dubai Chamber, remarked, “The opening of the new representative office in Warsaw is a pivotal move towards strengthening economic partnerships between Dubai and Poland. It will help foster links between business communities and stimulate investment and trade flows. We are committed to assisting Polish firms in broadening their global presence by leveraging Dubai’s competitive advantages as a premier global business center.”

The timing of this office launch aligns with the noticeable growth in trade and economic relations between Poland and Dubai, where non-oil trade value between the two surpassed 7.2 billion dirhams last year, reflecting a 5% year-on-year increase. By the end of the first half of 2025, there were 453 active Polish companies registered with the Dubai Chamber of Commerce, including 86 new members that joined within the first six months of the year, highlighting the robustness of economic relations and increasing interest from the Polish business community in the opportunities available in Dubai.

The new office will play a crucial role in supporting businesses in both Dubai and Poland, collaborating closely with the Polish business community to strengthen relationships with key stakeholders in both the public and private sectors. It will also promote Dubai’s competitive advantages as a global business destination. At the same time, the office will provide valuable insights into the Dubai market and support Polish businesses seeking to establish a foothold in the emirate and expand into global markets.

Furthermore, the Polish office will assist Dubai-based companies in their endeavors to enter the Polish market. This assistance includes providing key insights into the Polish market, helping identify trade and investment opportunities, and connecting these companies with reliable local partners to facilitate their market entry and smooth operational expansion in Poland.
