Emirates Airlines has announced the launch of an interline partnership with Bahamasair, enhancing seamless travel options for customers journeying to the Bahamas.
This collaboration between the two airlines allows Emirates to broaden its service range in the Caribbean. Customers will now have the opportunity to travel with Bahamasair, the national airline of the Bahamas, from two airports in Florida to two destinations in the Bahamas: Nassau on Paradise Island and Freeport on Grand Bahama Island. This interline agreement follows a memorandum of understanding signed between the airlines last June.
Emirates passengers can now book their entire trip from any of Emirates’ network points to either Orlando or Miami, continuing their journey to Nassau or Freeport, all on a single ticket with a unified baggage policy for both carriers.
The Miami and Orlando airports in Florida are among the twelve destinations served by Emirates in the United States.
Emirates operates daily flights to Miami using the upgraded Boeing 777 with a four-class configuration, in addition to five weekly flights to Orlando with a three-class Boeing 777.
From these two locations, customers can connect to Bahamasair flights, which use Boeing 737 aircraft to transport passengers to key destinations within the Bahamas.
In another development, Emirates has launched a new travel product designed to enhance customer experience while exploring Southeast Asia. The “Emirates Asia Pass” has been crafted for travelers seeking diverse cultural experiences and flexible travel plans, simplifying movement between multiple destinations within a single booking for added convenience, value, and adaptability.
The “Emirates Asia Pass” allows customers to curate and book multi-destination itineraries including Thailand, Indonesia, Vietnam, Malaysia, Cambodia, Singapore, and Laos, all through a single ticket. Whether travelers seek tranquil islands, rich cultural landmarks, or lively cities, this pass enables them to navigate the region in a way that suits their preferences.
Furthermore, the “Emirates Asia Pass” grants customers comprehensive flexibility in planning their trips according to their individual preferences. They can combine various Asian destinations and even revisit the same city multiple times. Customers can choose the number of flights that fit their needs, ranging from one to ten within Southeast Asia, and can design a travel itinerary that aligns perfectly with their style and schedule.
