Emirates Airlines: We Are Working to Fully Restore Our Network Operations

30,000 Passengers from Dubai on Airline Flights Two Days Ago

Emirates Airlines has announced that it has increased the number of destinations it currently operates to 83 locations worldwide, while temporarily maintaining a reduced flight schedule due to the limited reopening of airspace in the region. The airline is continuously working to restore its full operational network.

The airline indicated that flights to these destinations are being gradually resumed, and customers can check flight availability and make reservations through the airline’s website, with priority given to travelers with prior bookings on these limited flights.

Emirates Airlines confirmed that passengers transiting through Dubai will only be permitted to travel if their connecting flights are confirmed. Travelers are advised not to go to the airport unless they have a confirmed reservation.

Passengers were advised to verify their flight status and check for the latest operational updates on the airline’s website, in addition to monitoring their email for any notifications regarding changes or cancellations before heading to the airport.

Passengers holding bookings for travel between February 28 and March 31 can take advantage of the following options: rebooking, allowing them to switch to an alternative flight to the same destination for travel until April 30. If the reservation was made through a travel agent, they should reach out to them.

For direct bookings made with Emirates Airlines, passengers can modify their travel plans through the airline itself, or request a ticket refund via the refund form if they booked directly with Emirates, or contact their travel agent if the booking was made through them.

Gradual Restoration

A spokesperson for Emirates Airlines stated that following the partial reopening of some airspaces in the region, the airline is currently operating a limited flight schedule while working to restore its entire network.

The airline expects to resume full operations in the coming days, depending on airspace availability and meeting all operational requirements. Safety remains a top priority, alongside the ongoing commitment to serve and care for customers.

Two days ago, Emirates Airlines transported approximately 30,000 passengers from Dubai, and by today, it will operate 106 roundtrip flights to 83 destinations, which accounts for nearly 60% of its network.

In certain markets with high demand, Emirates Airlines has significantly ramped up its operations. For instance, in the United Kingdom alone, the airline will operate 11 flights daily across 5 airports by March 7, reflecting strong travel demand between the UAE and the UK. The airline is also increasing capacity to India.

Emirates will boost its flights to 22 daily services to cover all nine of its destinations in India by March 7. In the United States, Emirates continues to operate flights to seven American destinations, ensuring ongoing air connectivity between the United States and the UAE during this period.

Flights to these destinations are currently operational. Customers can verify seat availability and complete their bookings through the website. Passengers with prior reservations will be given priority. At this moment, customers are requested to proceed to the airport only if they have a confirmed booking.

Emirates Airlines continues to closely monitor the situation and adjust its operations according to developments, urging all customers to check the emirates.com website and the airline’s official social media channels for the latest updates as they become available.
