Emirates SkyCargo Establishes Its Position as the Preferred Choice for Global Pet Transportation

Emirates Skycargo, the air freight division of the world’s largest international airline, has established itself as a preferred carrier for transporting pets globally. The airline transports dozens of pets daily to various destinations around the world.

In 2025, Emirates Skycargo successfully moved over 14,600 pets, including dogs, cats, and other small animals, averaging about 40 pets per day through its extensive Emirates flight network.

Key destinations for these animals included London, Melbourne, Glasgow, Cape Town, Paris, Mumbai, Toronto, and Dubai. Notably, over 1,000 pets were transported on flights between the UK and Australia or New Zealand, with an additional 100 pets moved from Canada to Australia.

The airline’s reputation for pet transport has been enhanced by its adherence to high standards that prioritize the comfort and care of animals, both in-flight and on the ground. This includes specially designed solutions tailored to meet their needs.

Emirates Skycargo strictly follows the International Air Transport Association (IATA) regulations for the transport of live animals and offers services characterized by utmost safety, comfort, and reliability, all enriched with the distinctive Emirates hospitality experience.
